Our goal is to live and produce from the land in a sustainable way while promoting and preserving native flora and fauna. We seek always to work in a way that fosters creativity, dedication, innovation and respect.
We are a small family-run business that has been part of our community for generations. The current members of our team are active in non-profit organizations and have been for years.
The ranch land of Las Colmenas has been in our family since 1791 and was an original land grant from the king of Spain. In all those years, the operators of this family ranch have kept an open mind about new and alternative ways to be productive.
