Awards

Placed 2nd, 4th and 2nd in the South Texas Shootout photo contest of The Valley Land Fund, a non-profit land trust. The contest joined professional wildlife photographers with landowners who worked together to document the rich biodiversity of the region. (2004, 2006, 2008)

Leadership

President of the South Texas chapter of the Grazing Lands Conservation Initiative. This public-private partnership organized educational efforts for and academic studies of ranches in the region with the aim of improving rangeland biological health and financial stability. (2010-2015)
